I recently had the good fortune to visit Paris and eat at Epicure. I’ve been to a couple one star places in LA and NYC and one two star in Rome, but this completely blew all of them out of the water. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. It was in stark contrast to La Mere Brazier ** which we visited later in the trip. Favorite dish was the chocolate dessert.
They gave us some commemorative menus and we asked if the chef could sign it. The waiter asked if we wanted to come chat with him in the kitchen instead. It was spotless and the second in command (not Frechon) wrote us some messages in French that I’ll have to get around to translating.
Cappuccino was 18 euros though 😅
