Got the opportunity to go to Atomix for the first time and try the tasting menu and it met my high expectations. Aside from the food being pretty good, the exceptional service is what stood out to me – the conversations with the staff were genuine and did not feel forced. A couple of my favorite dishes are captured here but the full meal is [here](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRg6JkEQ/), which includes the cards that they give that describe what the next dish will be and what the background on that dish is. Overall great experience and looking forward to going back!

  2. This menu is much different than the first winter menu they had. Was there beets with the uni dish or did they remove that entirely? The palate cleanser and desserts look better here for sure.

Edit: ah this is an entirely new menu, I didn’t realize it switched already but I guess it makes sense

  3. Intrigued by this place for a bit. Still am, honestly.

Recently got a perceived dry run from this restaurant group at Atoboy, but would unfortunately not recommend their recent menu (Jan 2023). Nothing bad, nothing really good, vague but specific food that check boxes at best. Nice staff, informed, nothing bad to say really.

Still interested in comments, and would note seasonal spots gets outrageous hype in NY. Lots of spots use seasonal variation, it’s less risk but still gives places the chance to push weird hypes to keep off season moving.

Imo this is the top hype fine dining buy for at least 2020-23 in NYC. I think a few other more casual took over at points, but this is one I have yet to do and I’ve put in some degree of effort.

I’m expecting to see posts soon telling me how Atomix has a new season spring menu that crushes, or telling me the winter menu is the best ever and I’m gonna want to kill myself if i don’t have it (exaggeration, kidding) and meh?
