We went to Elske tonight and I have to say it was a standout meal – we did a la carte as I generally prefer them to tasting menus and everything was pitch perfect. The saddle of lamb and the sunflower seed parfait were the highlights. We had the mafaldine, octopus, lamb, rhubarb, sunflower seed parfait and the chocolate (we were gifted one). Some other Chicago restaurants charge similar to this, aren’t michelin and their service, ambiance, table distances etc aren’t even remotely similar. Excellent value for money in what is a pricey city for michelins.
