I tried making high protein chocolate chip cookie ice cream and it was a major success. 120 calories and 9 grams of protein for three scoops. It turned out very creamy!

  1. Interesting observation, the more v-whey I used, the creamier the ice cream. I did not expect that.

    The entire pint has 36 grams of protein!!

    Ingredients for one pint (pictured is only three scoops from the pint):

    * 15 g white chocolate sugar free pudding mix (**does not contain gelatin or cow dairy**),
    * 1.5 scoops v-whey,
    * 5 Annie’s choc chip cookies,
    * 2 Tbsp silk creamer,
    * 1.75 cup almond milk,
    * 1 tsp guar gum

    Mix guar gum powder with pudding mix and THEN add while whisking to 1.75 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Followed by v-whey and silk creamer. Freeze in Ninja Creami container overnight.

    The next day:

    I used the “light ice cream setting” and one re-spin. Then I mixed in by hand the crumbled cookies.
