  1. I made 2 portions. Ingredients:
    * 400g plain tofu (480 kcal)
    * 1 tbsp canola oil (90kcal)
    * 2 tbsp tapioka starch (75 kcal)
    * 1 tsp Szechuan pepper (10 kcal)
    * 40g wild garlic (17 kcal)
    * 1 tsp salt

    Cut tofu into dice, cover with tapioka starch.
    Heat oil in a pan or wok. Put tofu cubes into the pan and fry over medium heat until golden. They are going to be sticky for quite a while, but will become crisp eventually.

    If you’re using whole pepper corns, crush them together with the salt. Cut wild garlic into pieces.

    Put tofu into a bowl, sprinkle with salt and Szechuan pepper, add wild garlic.

    You can substitute whatever starch you like, and replace wild garlic with “normal” garlic.

  2. This is my favorite tofu dish! I like it with lots of fried garlic, onions, and jalapenos.
