Took the wife to Stockholm to see Taylor Swift and decided to do the trip well. Woke up at 4am Eastern time 6 weeks ahead of the trip to score a lunch reservation at Frantzen. Wow what an experience. This is now the top of the list (and 2x the bill of our previous most expensive).The butter literally made me cry, though the wine probably helped get me there. Everyone should get this experience once in their life. Excuse the piggy in the photos. That was for our “this little piggy” series that we sent to our daughter back home.

Glad you loved it. Frantzen is amazing, I don’t know if I can decisively say it’s the best restaurant I’ve ever been to but equally I can’t put anywhere else above it.

They didn’t have the onion, almond and liquorice soup? Will go to Franzen some day and sad to see if it’s gone.
Is it rude to ask the pricing? Would be nice to know if it’s on par with Noma or higher/lower

Frantzén is outstanding in a way not comparable with anything else. To the extent I’d actually call it cheap, would happily pay more and still go. Although I have not been to any other 3 star restaurant I can for certain say that it blows any other 1 or 2 star away.
