Had the 8 course tasting menu for dinner at Le Bernardin last night.

It was amazing, the fish was fresh, not too overcooked, flavors hit everytime.

The Japanese Madai (5th image) was my favorite, that dish alone was a 10/10. The fish almost melted in my mouth from how it was cooked.

The salmon was mid. It did not taste fresh, hard to cut into as well, did not enjoy the slow baked aspect of it.

Price was $325 per person.

Looks like a wonderful meal at a restaurant I’ve been meaning to try when I visit the States. Hope you like fish!

That said, New York prices are totally wild, and calling the petit fours ‘complimentary’ is a bit much when they are essentially part of an expensive set meal.

Too bad about the salmon, I lost my mind for that when we had it. But tough seems very surprising
