I did the following twists:
* used red rice
* mixed salads (radicchio, Batavia, and chicory)
* reduced amount of sesame seed
* added a hand full of walnuts
* Mandarin orange instead of navel orange
* cooked beets
* no ginger for the vinaigrette because I had none
* lime juice instead of orange juice
* pickle water instead of vinegar
I really loved eating this salad
