This reminds me of a common ‘school pudding’ we used to get in the UK when I was a kid called cornflake tart. It was basically baked caramel cornflakes, with strawberry jam underneath in a pastry tart case. It’s punishingly sweet and I love it so make it for my kids occasionally as it isn’t served in schools anymore.
Anyway this looks to be similarly sweet, but I’d smash it!

Love a cornflake cake. It’s a British school canteen staple. Never had it on top of a brownie but I’d be up for it.
