Hi – sorry if this is something that gets asked all the time or belongs in the mega thread, obviously mods pls remove if so.

I’ve gotten into the habit of buying one of these sticks of parm and tossing in the fridge to use as needed. I usually burn through one within a week or so, but realistically, how long does this last if stored in the fridge? Two weeks? A few weeks? A month? Until best by date, or even past that? I would love the idea of having one at hand pretty much at all times but I’m a bit of a food safety nut / germaphobe so your expert advice would be helpful 😁
