I'm 17 and recently got obsessed with charcuterie boards and this is my first try for my family's dinner. What else could I do to improve? Any tips are really appreciated!!
Looks great! Maybe some easy pointers from me since I’m new to this (just posted my first board yesterday).
1. Cut/smear that cheese and allow it to flow like a river between the crackers or spreads. Instead of a big block, cut it up and use it to border between and around things.
2. Depending how thick the jams, jellies or sauce are, just glob what you can right onto the board. Sure, it might get in a cracker or even the cheese, but that’s just perfect since you get two flavors in one now.
3. Need some color on here with bright fruits. Berries like raspberries, blueberries or kiwi are an easy go-to I see a lot of and similar to the cheese, use it as a border or separater to bring color and flow.
Really I think it looks great for your first try and I can only think of these things that I’ll just add some smoothness and not really change a whole lot.

I love how you use different size crackers! Especially the big ones.. yum! Creating a Pinterest board with boards you like the look of for more ideas on creative ways to assemble and decorate. That place is a creative haven 😍

This is cute! I would recommend making it a little more chaotic, less containers and more rivers. Mix things up a bit so there is uniform sections and piles/random pickings 🙂 I’m not a pro but I think the combination of mixing organized rivers with random stacks/roses/etc looks lovely. Save the bowl for olives or something that’s not viscous enough to stand on its own.

You have a really good variety! Unlike others, I do like my jellies and sauces contained 🤣 I would recommend maybe cutting up the cheese to make it easier for the grazers.
For real, great looking spread!

Are those Rye Crisps? If so, I haven’t seen those in a million years and they’re a brilliant choice.
