Not pictured: Mushi, Jewelry Box (amazing), wagyu (also amazing), uni sushi

By far our favorite omakase experience (though it was more of a blend of omakase/kaseiki)

Highlights: Everything. The uni pasta was probably my favorite course of the entire meal but there were no bad dishes.

Negatives: Price point – we will 100% be back. I found it to be absolutely worth it, but at $500 pp it’s the most we’ve personally spent on an omakase. Also, lack of sake pairing. We ended up purchasing two bottles of sake through out the meal which were exceptional accompaniments, but I would’ve loved an elevated pairing. Lastly the reservation process feels a bit archaic.

Overall: Amazing meal. I find myself kind of tired of uni/truffles/wagyu on repeat, but I felt like Kame didn’t use these as luxury add ons but rather thoughtful additions that enhanced the flavor of the dish as a whole instead of being the featured flavor.
