There are a ton of pictures so I couldn’t upload them all, but you get the idea. Alchemist- a once in a lifetime experience if only for the cost, which was 1200 pp. I think I highly enjoyed the performance aspect of it and felt the food did not quite live up to the standards of say a 3 star restaurant, of which I’ve been to Atelier Crenn and TFL. I think there were some standout bites which made it more of a 2 star experience for me, including the omelette and the dumplings. The smoke balls with caviar which are picture #2 were really tasty as well. I think overall it was a perfectly filling menu because there were a lot of courses but each course was only a bite, so we enjoyed that.

What really stood out were two things: the performance and the beverages. You can see a picture from the auditorium in which we dined which played a show throughout the whole dinner, which was extremely enjoyable. There was other performance i was discouraged from photographing like a bioluminescent cocktail display. For beverages, I got a mix of two cocktails and the nonalcoholic beverage pairing, while hubby got the cocktail pairing which isn’t on the menu. The nonalcoholic pairing featured many house fermented beverages such as the beet beverage featured in the last photo. There are two courses pictured that are cocktails as part of the main tasting menu as well, and the sunflower in particular was very tasty while the frozen cocktail gave me brain freeze. For a la carte cocktails, my husband got one with the rabbit ear alcohol (I think it was a gin?) that tasted quite gamey.

Overall, 9/10 once in a lifetime experience. Also they do change their menu a bit as we didn’t get the blue mold dish I saw in other photos.
