And yet it’s still widely available at supermarkets everywhere. Which is nice because it’s a great cheese for when you want that melt.

Good deli American (not Kraft) is the best cheese for burgers, and the best for grilled cheese.

I still sell pounds of the stuff at work. Hell they even created a New School American recently it’s not going anywhere.

For the millionth time, you’re thinking of kraft singles and a similar brands. American cheese, as a *type* of cheese, absolutely fill it’s own place in the world of cheese.

As if they age check everyone who buys cheese. More generationalism. If American cheese is dead we all killed it. (slaps a slice on bread for grilled cheese)

Lol, notice how every generation before us, things simply became “unpopular,” and it was taken as a sign of cultural evolution and change?
No, instead they must equate millennials and gen Z’s to MURDERERS of the great capitalist, industrial meat grinder that is our inherited society. Any change or improvement we make seems to be taken like a slap in the face to a boomer.
The previous generations built the world we (millennial and Gen z) inherited, but they keep turning the blame from their mistakes onto their children. Low brow intelligence when they ignore that fact. (#notallboomers, obviously, but I digress…).

Heritage Farm American Cheese is the best. $2-$3 per pack and tastes so much better than Kraft.

That’s okay, I’ll buy enough for all of us.

If I want something to have an “oh can you add cheese to it” I’m gonna go with American.
But if it’s a recipe that calls for stuff in it, it’ll be an actual cheese. Like cheddar for tacos. Or Parmesan for pasta.
But just “add cheese” it’s gonna be American.
I’d also like to mention the add I got in this post is for Kraft Mac and cheese.

American cheese won’t die. It is the Creed of cheeses. Deny it all you want, deep down you love it.

The only places where American cheese product belongs to are either burgers, sandwiches, or the trash can.

Yea real American cheese is amazing, unfortunately most outside of America and even the posh ones in America want to label all American cheese as Kraft singles. It isn’t. It has its place. You don’t have better tastes or are more refined if you need to act like American cheese is bad. It says more about the person than the product itself.

Cooper Sharp American and New School American cheese are high quality alternatives if you want better quality melty goodness. But the shit ain’t cheap.
