  1. That seasoning doesn’t get through the shell and into the meat. The crabs season your fingers and your fingers season the crab meat. I’ve always admired this system.

  2. I live in North Carolina, but was born in Maryland. Every summer I do a big steamed crab party. This year I steamed 8 dozen crabs in my backyard and fed about 30 people. It just keeps getting bigger every year.

  3. Love those ever since my student exchange in Maryland 15 years ago.

    But apparently they are becoming an invasive species in the Mediterranean, so I have hopes that they’ll become more available in Europe.

  4. Makes me hungry for the Cheeseburger after. Always was still hungry after an hour of crab picking.
