Celebrating Malaysia Day with its national dish and drink 🇲🇾
Normally I wouldn’t eat nasi lemak at restaurant but might as well enjoy the long weekend here. This nasi lemak is from a chain called Oriental Kopi. Their signature nasi lemak comes with fired chicken, while my preferred protein would be sambal sotong (squid).
The drink is teh tarik, tea with condensed milk prepared by pouring the drinks repeatedly between two cups.

Not the most beautiful pictures. But these kind of unassuming nasi lemak and teh tarik can lead to some of the best meals. I miss Malaysian food!
