Step 1: My wife steamed a fresh jumbo lobster from the Martha's Vineyard Seafood Collaborative. We named him Hank.

Step 2: I scrambled 6 Morning Glory Farm eggs slowly with butter. Dollop of crème fraîche to stop the cooking, then chives, salt, pepper to season.

Step 2, audible: Turns out Hank was pregnant, so we mixed the little red lobster eggs in with the egg mixture.

Step 3: I grilled Grey Barn boule slices in EVOO and some salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4: Assembled my toast with scrambled egg and mixture and picked lobster meat.

Step 5: Snagged the last of the Connecticut corn leftovers from the night before.

Step 6: Took a picture.

Step 7: Enjoyed one of the best anniversary breakfasts ever.

  1. Aesthetically it looks really good. But I’m one of those people that can’t mix anything with my lobster. I only eat it by itself. I don’t put it on bread. I don’t put it with eggs. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. But that’s just my personal taste.
