My little experiment. I calculated how long (in minutes) it takes for my hunger to go away after I start eating a meal. Knowledge is power! I’ve learned to eat more slowly and/or distract myself with another task in the interim.

Also, the amount of time depends on how long I’ve gone between meals because my nighttime snacks filled me up more quickly.
I feel like you’d need to calibrate for calories.

i did something similar for an ADHD coaching exercise, and it really helped me understand when I was really hungry or when I was like bored or anxious or wanting to procrastinate by eating.

What about the opposite? How long does it take you from finishing a meal to being hungry again?
Oh I love this! It’s a good reminder to eat slowly and savor the food.
