I smoked it with hickory. Oak, apple, and maple wood pellets.

  1. That sounds SO good! Hickory is such a bold choice, but I bet it gave that cheddar an amazing smoky depth. Apple and maple might’ve added a nice sweet touch too! Honestly, I’m drooling just thinking about it 😍. Did it come out as perfectly smoky as you hoped? I need to try this!​

  3. My dad used to make this 😭 I still think about it sometimes. He’s alive he just doesn’t make it anymore. He’d slice it so there would be grill marks on it.

  4. Usually with this sort of thing I think that it’s important to ask “why?”. In this situation however, I am glad that people are brave enough to ask “why not?!”
