Dough:
– 2 cups of flour
– 100g vegan butter
– 4 tb spoon water
– salt
Mix dough which hands and add to a pan, putting holes in the dough when it’s in the pan. Put it in a preheated oven at 400f/200c and leave it for 15 minutes.
Cashew cream:
– 150g raw cashews (soaked 8hrs or overnight)
– 250 ml water
– 1 tb spoon cornstarch
– 1/2 lime juice
– 1/2 clove of garlic
– salt
Blend blend blend
Tomatoes:
– 250g cherry tomato
– olive oil
– garlic to taste
Pesto:
Can buy store bought but this recipe is quick and easy, requires
– 10 almonds
– 1/3 cup of basil
– 1/4 cup of olive oil
– 1/2 clove of garlic
– some drops of lime and salt
In her video she chops everything up but I think it’s easier to blend everything together
After 15 minutes of roasting the dough, pour in the cream and spread the tomatoes on top. Roast everything for another 10/15 minutes. Then once you take it back out of the oven you add the pesto at the very end.
