Is hot honey the “thing” right now? Because I swear for the past month or two, I have seen a billion hot honey recipes across all my social media platforms. This does look bangin though. A bit more cakey lookin then traditional cornbread, but probably tastes great.
Also a pro tip for cornbread, its often best accompanied with some sort of wet food, like soup/stew/chilli etc.. If you do eat it on its own, apply a liberal amount of butter on it while hot. It can be a bit dry on its own unless you make a more cakey style cornbread like above. It kind of reminds me of a MUCH better version of that boxed jiffy cornbread, which isnt really cornbread but more like corncake. It has a much sweeter taste, and tends to be more moist and cake like.
