  1. – Made with homemade chicken broth from a $4 rotisserie chicken carcass
    – 68¢ box of Jiffy buttermilk biscuits. You only add water and they bake in less than 15 mins! I added extra butter and some whole wheat flour to them
    -Dollop of cream cheese instead of heavy cream: cream cheese lasts months in the fridge, is cheaper, and can replace cream in most soups, pastas, or this!

    I don’t use a recipe any more for pot pies but [this one](https://thefoodcharlatan.com/classic-double-crust-chicken-pot-pie-recipe/) is a good one
