Recently had the pleasure of visiting L’Enclume. After eating at the Fat Duck and Core by Claire Smyth, L’Enclume certainly held its own as a true 3* experience. Everything at L’Enclume is based around being local and sustainable and it shows in how fresh and exciting the food service is. Their deep ties to the lake district make it seemingly impossible to replicate their magic.
Additionally, the service at L’Enclume is to be admired . Candidly, there weren’t many tables being served for lunch but our waitress was likely the best i’ve ever had and the entire team was truly exceptional. Certainly a 3* level team.
Not pictured – Frozen Tunworth Cheese. Not much to report there anyways as it was tied for my least favorite dish of the afternoon.
Additionally, I tried the Apple + Pine juice made fresh from their garden. After having the non-alcoholic paring at the Fat Duck and multiple teas and juices at Core by Claire Smyth in the days prior this juice was up there with the best of the bunch.

Never been disappointed at my meals at Rogan’s, albeit just Roganic and Fera. His food is right up my street.
