Our cousin is visiting and his favorite food is lasagna. So I spent the afternoon making it for him.
1.) home made Bolognese with local sources ground beef, simmered for 3 hours
2.) bechamele sauce with black pepper and a touch of nutmeg
3.) shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan on each layer
4.) topped with more mozzarella, Parm, and breadcrumbs for a little crunch.
Baked for 45 minutes at 350, then 10 minutes at 450 to crisp the top.

Also I’m going to start telling people I made 5 hour bolognese when in reality I just like starting dinner at lunch so I can lounge for the rest of the day.
