I work at an ER Vet and cooking for myself is exhausting, who could ever have the time? But this has been so easy!

There’s no use listing portions because it all depends on you and there’s no right or wrong way to do it.

Most ingredients are optional, I personally don’t put cheese on mine.

Diced tomato, minced garlic cloves, fresh basil (not dry), olive oil.

You’re going to mix all of this into a bowl! You can let it sit if you want a lot of juiciness with the tomato or if you don’t want it to be too liquid-y, you can jump to scooping it and placing it on bread.
As for what bread you put your bruschetta on, you can use little crostinis from the store, pitas, ciabatta slices, French bread, or nothing! I personally like to cut up slices of French bread, stick them in the oven to make them crispy, and then add the bruschetta.
That being said, I’ve made the mixture and then scooped it onto a pita bread and it was still equally good.

After all of this is put together, you can add on Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar, if you’d like. Just eat it quickly after putting it on bread, unless you like it soggy haha.

Everything depends on your preference, and I personally don’t even have a set recipe for how much tomato, oil or garlic I add. It took me a few tries to just get it to what I liked. Hope this helps some beginner cooks like me 🙂
