  1. The recipe for the miso soup with spinach and dulse comes from Dr. Greger’s How Not To Die Cookbook. The ingredients are miso paste, edamame, spinach, dulse, shiitake mushrooms, spices including a lil nooch, scallions and vegetable broth. All the recipes in the cookbook are vegan and fairly low calorie.

    The salad is romaine, radish, dill and pea shoots with a high-protein vegan ranch dressing made with almond protein powder. 1 oz of the dressing has 31 calories and 3 grams of protein. I got the recipe from the Bob’s Red Mill [website ](https://www.bobsredmill.com/recipes/how-to-make/protein-ranch-dressing/) and started making it every week. I always add more salt and sub soy milk for almond milk. (If you follow the recipe as written you’d have a dressing that was even lower calorie but also lower protein).
