I was just meal planning (thinking) using tofu and peppers for tonight and would love the recipe. Looks delicious!! Thank you

  2. Tbh I kind of was just winging it and made this without a recipe so the ingredients here can be added or used in smaller amounts. It is just enough for a single serving so if you’re making more than one serving then perhaps I’d double the measurements. You can also tweak my recipe to your preference (if you wanna put in more soy sauce then I’m sure it would end up just as delicious and savory. I just know some people really love soy sauce but the combination of everything here gives a really nice Asian flavor already imho)

Anyway- Let’s get to the fun stuff:

    Tofu marinade:

Three table spoons of soy sauce (I used amino acid as it’s less sodium)

Half table spoon of sesame oil

    Three cloves of minced garlic

Black pepper in a amount you prefer

One table spoon of Hot chili sauce

    A pinch of lemon

    A pinch of sugar

Mix it all together and I let it sit for a couple of hours in a container

    For the sauce:

    One table spoon hoisin

    One table spoon sesame oil

5 gloves of garlic (bc I’m a garlic fiend)

    A dash of lemon

Two table spoons of hot chili sauce (I like mines spicy but you can defo just use one table spoon)

    A small pinch of sugar

I fry the tofu marinade while adding in sweet peppers and kale (it’s just what I had in my fridge but you can add mushrooms, broccoli, green beans etc!). Once that’s done frying for 10 minutes I add in the ingredients for the sauce

For the noodles- I just picked whatever Asian noodles I saw that looked good in the store hehe

Cook the noodles according to package directions and once it’s done cooking, mix it in w the tofu!

    Enjoy ✨🌸

You can also add in ginger, green onions and cilantro but I didn’t have any
