My dad found Lenny & Larry’s cookies on sale at the store and was excited that it was vegan so he brought me one. Holy shit 460 calories for one cookie and only 16g of protein! Lol we are splitting it.

Those bad boys legitimately replace a meal for me. Very filling although the macros are not great

I love those, but I have a very gassy reaction to chicory root fiber, which is one of the main ingredients.

Does that happen to anyone else?

The fact that one serving is half a cookie is so ridiculous. Like first of all, a cookie is literally the worst food to divide, it will crumble and all that. But let’s say I want to eat one serving and I have no one to share it with, what am I supposed to do? Keep half a cookie in opened plastic wrapper? It will get stale and disgusting by the time I’d like to have the rest.

Definitely more treat than low-cal snack—but I love having them for hikes and the like! They’re a nice, delicious boost of energy

Yeah pfuck Lenny and Larry’s Complete cookies. Tired of trying to reach out to them cause I need help with a possible order and months no response. Good thing there are healthier better tasting options out there. I’m not vegan but I like the idea of alternative sources of protein.

  6. This post is even funnier a year later considering that they [were sued in a successful class-action based on the fact that their cookies contained *far* less protein than advertised.](https://www.classaction.org/blog/maker-of-the-complete-cookie-hit-with-suit-over-protein-claims)

The package claims 16g protein per cookie and the cookies were found to contain only **between 4 and 9g per cookie.** 😆🥲

I honestly don’t know how they managed to make a “cookie” that doesn’t even taste that good while still failing to deliver on protein content! At least when I’m eating a “protein bar” I don’t expect it to taste, y’know, good.
