* 14 oz super firm tofu
* 2 Tbsp sriracha
* 2 Tbsp honey
* 2 tsp soy sauce (1 for tossing with tofu and cornstarch, 1 for sauce mixture)
* 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
* canola spray
* 1 Tbsp cornstarch
I used super firm tofu so didn’t bother pressing it. Cubed the tofu, tossed with 1 tsp soy sauce and the cornstarch (she recommends doing the cornstarch a tsp at a time, and I haven’t done this before, but I think it helped it coat evenly.) Sprayed a baking sheet with canola and put the tofu on it, then sprayed the tops of the tofu. I chose to bake instead of pan frying it because I wanted a more hands-off method and to use less oil. Added it to a preheated 400 degree oven.
Tossed the tofu after 10 minutes, and again after 5 more, and 5 more, and pulled out at 25 minutes when golden and crispy. Once out of the oven, into the sauce and tossed.
Meanwhile I mixed the sriraacha, honey, 1 tsp soy sauce, and red pepper together, steamed broccoli in the microwave, and fluffed the coconut rice.
*Shown over coconut jasmine rice, with broccoli, topped with sesame seeds and a little shredded coconut.*

You got a good color on the tofu with baking, I thought it was fried at first. Will try baking tofu again (I typically cook it on a pan)

which brand of sriracha did you use? I grew up on the Huy Fong brand but stores around me stopped selling them due to the shortage and I haven’t found an alternative brand I liked.
