TikTok made me attempt to make this. Tweaked the linked recipe a bit by adding some baking powder to the milk mixture and some shredded mozzarella to the feta. Also I rolled the phyllo instead of laying out sheets

  1. An everyday staple as a Croatian vegetarian. It looks delicious and there are so many variations out there all of which are great. And don’t listen to Bosnians when they tell you that Cheese Börek is not not a Börek (burek) because I’m telling you that it is 😁

    But seriously, thanks for sharing this recipe, I feel like the world needs to know about this and Ajvar.

    Note: for cheese I like to use “fresh cheese”, basically like a fattier cottage cheese.

    I used to live off spinach and mozz rolls (kind of similar but sold at NYC pizza joints) and they were soooo good. Now i want to try this
