630 EUR — I remember 17 years ago thinking how insane Paris prices were; but this is cheaper than the corresponding 2-star here in Copenhagen now (Alchemist). I’m very pleased there’s market for extreme food nerds in both places now though it has taken me years of visits to appreciate the good craftsmanship (as opposed to overuse of expensive ingredients or just charging based on your name).

€630 is a crazy high price for even a 3* meal! WTF?

I’m going to be in Paris in three weeks and wondering if this experience is worth the cash even at half price if the service is suffering. I’m willing to spend it if it’s worth it, but is there something else I should look at instead for the money? Thanks
