  1. Unsure why I can’t write descriptions on each photo anymore, but I will list the courses here instead 🙂 The tasting menu was $95/person, with an optional wine pairing at $55/person. I have included all the wines in the pairing, which currently are all from female owned wineries.

    1. Seaweed Caviar
    2. Tomato: smoked feta, fried green tomatoes, gazpacho
    3. Vegetable kanpachi
    4. Zucchini: squash blossoms, thai chilis, torn zucchini and mint salad
    5. Chopped Cheese
    6. Eggplant: eggplant caramelle, jben, harissa, pickled fairytale eggplants & pistachios
    7. Corn: roasted baby corn, salsa verde, aji amarillo mole
    8. Tomatillo: watermelon jam, black sesame, salted dulce de leche ice cream

Personally I felt the meal was a 4/5. Very good, but not particularly memorable. I came here with a large group of primarily vegan friends, and everyone really loved the food. I would come back for brunch, but probably not the tasting menu.

  2. What’s up with the vegetable kanpachi plating? Any opinions on that dish (if it’s the 3rd image of food, and not that dish, the 3rd is inspiring the question)?

  3. I didn’t realize Dirt Candy had a star, we went here last year and I have to agree with a 4/5. It wasn’t anything that wow’ed me and some things were a hit and miss.
