It is honestly insane how few places even offer a veggie burger :/
I still eat meat, but I will go out of my way to get a impossible whopper, mostly to support having more vegetarian options.

I hope they don’t dump the ‘Shroom Burger.

Shake Shack is opening in my city, but looking at the ingredients it looks like I’ll be skipping out since I can’t eat mushrooms.

Oh this is great, I’ve never liked the shroom burger since there’s always too much cheese! I’ll definitely try this

I very much prefer a less-processed veggie burger than super-processed fake meat. This is excellent news! I can’t wait to try it!

Man it’s so awesome how all these spots are now doing vegetarian stuff. I know for a lot of new vegetarians this might seem commonplace now and to be expected. But it has ever been like this. It’s awesome.

Does anyone know if it’s mandatory for these places to cook the veggie burgers on a separate grill than meat? I feel like it is encouraged but is there anything actually mandating it?

Very cool! I’ve never bothered with Shake Shack because I can get grilled cheese at In n Out. May have to check this one out

Woohoo! I’m glad the veggie patty is having a renaissance, I’m tired of all the restaurants replacing their veggie burgers with beyond/impossible

Am I crazy or does the article not clarify whether it’s vegan or not? It’s not even clear whether the new shake would be vegan, since it could still contain egg

Don’t they have a beet burger?? Am I confusing them with someone?

It’s about friggin time.

wish even grills were different. restaurants cook veggie patties over the same place as meat patties.

Are there any shake shacks on the east coast or no?

Shit, I thought this was in Australia and got a tad excited haha. Will have to try and recreate at home I guess! Love fried pickles (in moderation.. …rrrrrright?)

I would LOVE to try this…always down for a really good veg burger!
Del Taco has been doing Beyond but apparently they’re dropping it on 5/15. Guess it’s back to TB for me.

every. single. time. i went to my ss for one of these, they were out of stock, but did i want a mushroom burger? NO!!
mind you, i don’t go that often, but if someone was ordering lunch from there at work or whatever, just for fun i would see if i could get one.

Oh sweet definitely going to try this, the mushroom burger didn’t sound appetizing to me tbh

Meh im not a fan of these types of veggie burgers. Shroom burger is fire and if they had an impossible option id be excited. This is totally unappealing. But thats me.
Edit: wow downvote because someone politely states something is not their taste. Adulting so hard right now.

Interesting, will try it today

I love this, I don’t know why we don’t offer more vegetarian/vegan options. I eat meat sometimes, it’s nice to have a healthier option and still satisfy my need for a burger
