Did you try the dessert? For me everything else is price of admission for the bread + dessert

Honestly kind of confused how this restaurant has a star. It’s good, just not on par with a lot of Michelin experiences I’ve been had. I’ve been to a few bib gourmands that had more memorable food quite frankly.

Actually had reservations here last month and changed them to One White Street instead, looks like I made the right choice. What was the ambiance like ?

I’m a fan of crown shy, but agree it’s hard to justify the star. Cool restaurant with good vibes and good food. But I’d agree, it’s not 1 star good. And it’s very inconsistent.

Agreed. The bread was great, desserts were very good. Everything else forgettable. The famous short rib and pork chops were both average at best. SAGA is another disappointment.

Agree. Everything was good but only desserts were standouts. I would go just for desserts if possible. Thought Saga was great though.

Gonna go a little against the grain and say the bread and marshmallow dessert were kind of subpar, but the sticky toffee pudding and short rib were absolutely incredible. Sounds like the cooking may be inconsistent.
