Varieties like the dark choc mint have a creamy center made of “humectant (422)” which we dont have in the USA. Ive already stopped eating Cherry Ripes bc of this ingredient what will be left!?
Has anyone contacted Arnotts to clarify if the humectant is animal or plant derived?

It’s from glycerol. Used to be always from animal fat. Don’t know nowadays. Best email Arnotts and they can say. The glycerol probably killed less animals than the production and transport of the biscuits so you may be being overly pedantic.
TLDR: Probably not veggie.
