The 2 major characteristics this restaurant has cannot be more different from one and the other. On one hand, Plu serves techinically well-excecuted dishes with flavors from all over the world to a degree of perfection (see image 1). On the other hand, there is this child-like, pop art inspired persona that chef Elliot Moss has that was incorporated into other dishes (see image 2).

There is a dish that literally looks exactly like Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe portrait. Just like Warhol’s idea of going against stereotypically “good art” at the time, this dish goes against pre-esrablished fine dining standards. It is literally just sauces in different colors. There is no classy way of eating it. You LICK the plate.

There is only ONE chef and ONE server for the entire restaurant, which resulted in a quiet and intimate dining atmosphere. The wine paring was excellent, every dish was well seasoned and well balanced at the same time and the desserts blew my mind. This was a beyond flawless experience.

I felt like I just found a treasure. This place is the definition of a hidden gem. If you ever decide to visit London, you CANNOT miss this place. This was rare, unique and genius.
