What makes you think it’s at the two star level? Not doubting you, just curious for more details.

I went Dec of 2022. I enjoyed the meal. 2 star is a bit ambitious. I can see it potentially getting a star or even a bib gourmand because there are worse spots with a star.
Greenpoint is becoming little tokyo with house & restaurant Yu.

Love this place, and the food is REALLY reminiscent of Maison too.

The food is great. I highly doubt they get two. One is possible – this is way better than Restaurant Yuu which I hated in many ways.
The vibe at HOUSE just isn’t sophisticated enough for two and the service is somewhat lacking. They didn’t bother changing cutleries in between courses and there are small details that are missing.
