Geranium Summer Universe

  1. After much anticipation and excitement we finally made our way to Geranium! In the end, despite the hefty price tag, I actually found the meal to be well worth it as a one-time experience. Was it the absolute peak of fine dining? Probably not, no. But was it an expertly crafted menu with complex and creative courses that explore unique flavor combinations and ideas without being gimmicky? In my opinion: hell yeah! My only real criticism is that the service did feel a bit mechanical at times, but this complaint was easily made up for by the rest of the experience (and the service was still friendly, at that).

There were so many memorable dishes throughout the menu and really no lowlights, even if there were some courses that we were less impressed by than others. I definitely recommend a stop here for any fine food enjoyers who have a trip to Copenhagen on the radar — though I cant really see myself coming back any time soon. There are simply more price-efficient menus around that don’t sacrifice much — if any– of the food quality.

    Great post, thanks OP!

The plating is absolutely next level, easily some of the prettiest dishes i’ve seen here.

  3. Ugh I love this place. You know the purple dried flowers in your second to last pic? Last time I was there, the table next to me ate them lmao. The entire kitchen came to the table to make sure they were ok
