276 Calorie crispy orange tofu plus rice. Very satisfying meal for under 300 cal.

  1. crispy orange tofu stir fry

    pictured is 1/3 c rice plus 1/3 of this recipe:

    * 1 block of tofu cut up
    * 3 T cornstarch to coat tofu

    ​

    * 145 g broccoli
    * 230 g bell pepper
    * 112 g sliced yellow onion

    ​

    * ½ c low cal orange juice
    * 1 tsp corn starch

    sauce

    * 3 T regular soy sauce
    * 1 T rice vinegar
    * red chili flakes
    * 1 T brown sugar sweetener
    * 1 T diced garlic
    * 1 T diced ginger

    1 T orange zest

    spray oil

    Cut up tofu and toss with 3 T of corn starch. Add to hot non-stick pan with spray oil. Brown and flip over and brown some more. Remove from pan. Pan fry veggies and finish by adding sauce mixture. Mix orange juice and 1 tsp of cornstarch and add to pan. Allow for sauce to thicken. Lastly, mix in crispy tofu to veggies and sauce and throw in orange zest.

  2. Think it’s possible to bake the tofu with cornstarch? Only because I’m lazy and hate pan frying tofu
