Today feels like a bit of a turning point. My fridge is restocked with vegetarian foods, & last week I survived a bout of three bad bathroom days that made me worry I’d have to give up. I woke up today not as tired as was usual. Began cooking and mixing in leftovers, prepped some chia pudding for tomorrow, and as I sat down.. wow! A lot of the fear I had about going vegetarian and making this drastic change has surprisingly gone away. Instead it’s meditative, my body is looking forward to the nutrients I’m giving it, and gosh I don’t know I feel good today and wanted to share!

My tips to new folks who are down to try; don’t be so harsh on yourself. Use Cronometer to make sure you’re hitting your macro’s. Stick with it even on hard days. And hey, I did have a bad day where I gave in and bought a non vegetarian meal after pilates when I felt like I was gonna faint. I think.. that’s normal, to be scared, to not know how to eat in a wholly new diet. And it’s ok to make mistakes. Even last week when I gave in I still ate the rest of my week vegetarian. That’s HUGE! 🫂
