That pork does indeed look weirdly overcooked for a high end place… And fully agree with your stance on the inedible garnish. These guys have a star?

I had a very nice experience in Portugal in the Algarve, A Ver Tavira, was great with super original wine pairing. Double the price though.

This is unrelated af honestly to the experience of the resturant. But anyone else get sick of seeing the same shape spoonful of sorbet / ice cream at every single higb end resturant. Is it like an inside joke that they all obliged to have this exactly same shaped spoonful of frozen dessert.?… dead serious question. For me it’s always off putting but I may be the only one to ever feel this way lol.

the torn up cake is because it’s made in a paper cup in the microwave, then torn up. Super easy/common thing to do.

  4. I like the mango quenelle. Not a fan of cake tearing or the chocolate soil trend either. The latter just tastes like crumbs.

  5. Your pictures are missing the mushroom palette cleanser course which I have on good authority is the real star of the show! 😉

  6. Great timing – made a reservation and saw this post literally 15 minutes later. What are some non-meh options in this price range?
