Aldi will probably be the best option for all cheese but this specifically just changed the game for me. Didn’t ever even think to check the labels on any melts because i thought it was a lost cause. i hope this post helps anyone here or anyone doing a google search.

Is velveta style cheese ever not vegetarian?
Aldi is great for so many things! Will keep an eye out for this next time I’m there. Was this near the boxed mac n cheese, or…?
“Real” velveeta is scary…I can only imagine a knockoff version. I never eat it so I never gave it much thought but: “After contacting Kraft, they confirmed that all of their shredded cheeses contain “animal derived enzymes.” Additionally, Velveeta contains animal-based enzymes. Lastly, Kraft singles also contain animal-derived enzymes.” I didn’t realize about the Kraft singles either 😑
The ingredient list says milk fat. Idk how strict you are, just pointing that out
I can’t wait to try this, thanks for sharing!
I don’t get what makes it vegetarian. It is made with whey protein and milk fat. How is this different to eating regular cheese?
