I’ve recently been roasting veg with a mixture of miso and butter, following 2 NYT recipes. One was roasted broccoli with miso butter, and another with roasted Brussel sprouts. These are so delicious and my four year old loves them that I’m looking for any other recipes that utilize miso in a non traditional way. Anyone use miso/butter combo on other roasted veg or other great unique recipes that use miso to bring great umami flavors? Thanks! First time posting here, been veg for 30 years.

I love miso and some butter on pasta- a nice upgrade to simple yet delicious buttered noodles!
Miso butter is an amazing combo
I use miso whisked into about any soup or sauce instead of just salt
Miso tahini salad dressing is fantastic, the japanese miso eggplant dish, and [miso yaki onigiri](https://www.justonecookbook.com/miso-yaki-onigiri/) which is traditional but whatever it’s also amazing
This is my all time favourite miso recipe, a spicy, umami, grilled cauliflower

You can do it in a cast iron pan if you don’t have a bbq grill though you may want to pull back on the hot sauce. On the grill it drips off the cauliflower but in a pan it concentrates on it and can have quite the kick

You can use miso and butter to make a struesal topping for fruit bakes. I’ve also had it in cookies and in frosting.
I use miso butter inside grilled cheese 🤤

This sweet potato recipe calls for soy sauce, tahini and butter but I’m 100% certain it would be delicious with miso in place of soy sauce:
