1. Maitake mushrooms cooked in 3 ways & A5 wagyu donburi
2. Tuna tartare in Thai spices & herbs (tasted like Tom Yum Soup)
3. Coconut Curry & Shrimp
4. “Shumai” (Kinkan would serve it like dumplings in L.A., but here they used Scottish scampi as dumpling skin instead. My fave dish of the entire night): scampi, scallop, Chinese fermented dried fish & Shiso
5. Clam, Mexican chillies & Thai curry
6. “fish and chips”: tempura fish & crispy purple potatoes.
7. Cornish crab fried rice
8. Assam tea ice cream
Great mixture of Kinkan’s Thai heritage & Hannah’s Japanese heritage while utilizing British ingredients.
