  1. Casa Maria Luigia was one of the most incredible experiences. The property is gorgeous, the room is luxurious, the fridge is refilled with treats from the chef (daily), the staff is incredibly welcoming, the breakfast is made by one of their excellent pastry chefs. My wife and I also took a tour of the balsamic vinegar they make on the property, and got to taste some that are not being sold yet. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Glad you had such a great experience! Was just in Modena last week as well. Surprised at the complexity of the traditionally aged balsamics. How was the five ages of parmigiano?? It was only available as a 80€ add on to the tasting.

Ate at Osteria Francescana but only saw Massimo as he drove by in his colorful Maserati SUV and stopped to wish us a good dinner.

  3. This is probably a dumb question since their website explicitly says so, but the Casa Maria Luigia dinner is fully pre-paid and non-refundable right? Just wanted to ask someone who actually went.
