So I just noticed the veggie dogs i like have some [pretty great macros](https://i.imgur.com/91IJev0.jpg) and I’d love to take advantage of them while they are on sale at my local grocery store. What ways aside from in a bun do you like your veggie dogs? Any especially good pairings for meal prep?

    Iike to slice and throw them in Mac n cheese. Chunk them up and roast them with a sheet pan of veggies (throw them in just for the last ten minutes) Grill them, slice them lengthwise, and use em on a sandwich. Wrap them up in a pancake for breakfast. Use them in casseroles with potatoes or hash browns

    I like to fry them up (sometimes I split them lengthwise or into diagonal ovals) and serve them with cooked sauerkraut and onions and baked beans. I grew up eating my veggie dogs that way… you can even serve with a side of vegan potato salad to make it extra yummy 😋. The trick to cooking the sauerkraut is to lightly rinse it first then add it to your pot with some onions that you’ve already started frying until they’ve turned translucent and slightly golden- add sauerkraut and some water then cook it all down until there’s some liquid left in the bottom. Then it’s done and serve with veggie dogs baked beans maybe some potato salad and even try some corn too!

    Sometimes I crave spaghetti and hotdogs from my childhood, but now I use spaghetti squash. Hits the spot cuz I grew up in a filipino household and we add honey/sugar to spaghetti for some reason. Spaghetti squash scratches the itch with no need to add suc-GROSS and its super comforting with hotdog!
