  1. Extremely good meal. Wonderfully casual service that was still refined and informative. Great mix of hip hop and metal playing. Everything was perfectly simple yet complex. The belly used on the tuna cracker melted on the tongue without chewing. Caviar an incredible accompaniment to the tartare, dried capers had a nice contrast in the hand roll. Uni butter on the clams was to die for. Dumplings light and rich concurrently, seaweed had the punch of salt and umami that balanced perfectly. Expressed a bit of interest with the chefs and ended up with the white truffle shaving at the table. Shaved ice was a revelation, an incredible play on a classic southeast Asian dessert. Highly recommend.

Do you order off a menu, or is it prix fixe? How’d you get a res?

    What was your total spend?

  3. Awesome. I’m heading to Nashville in a few weeks and still need good dinner ideas for Sunday and Monday nights. Do you have any suggestions if they cant squeeze me in at Locust (I just emailed them)?

Went a few weeks ago. Absolutely dynamite meal. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Apparently Audrey, Sean Brock’s new spot in Nashville, is even better.
