Disclaimer: I don’t eat shellfish, some dishes might be different on the original menu.

Went for dinner here last night and it was…..great? My favourite dish was the asparagus with the sabayons. So delicious, and at the end you get to scoop up the leftover sabayon with the fresh bread, just amazing.

All the other dishes were delicious too but nothing else really blew me away. I know the World’s Top 50 list is basically a popularity contest but I was still expecting more from the “#22”.

It was still a great meal though, and not that expensive as fas as tasting menus go(110). Just might not be worth the hype and hassle in finding a reservation (I got lucky and walked in)

  2. Nice. Thanks for your review. I went to their seafood restaurant next to it and loved it. Seems like it’s alot of hype. But I’ll try again next time

  3. One of my favorite meals ever 6 or so years ago, such a comforting homey menu, felt like a long warm hug covered in butter.

Always love Septime. I think sometimes the 50 best rating gives people a different expectation. It’s not a fine dining, it’s never tried to be.
