The Primal Buffalo sauce is my favorite. I only used 1/2 Tbsp (17 cal) but it packs a lot of flavor. Used 1.3 strips of tempeh per sandwich. Avocado was sliced very thin, because calories.
I adore this tempeh, tempeh in general is far superior to tofu and I’m willing to die on that hill
Maybe someone can help me with my distaste for tempeh. I have been vegan for 30 years and I have tried tempeh many times over that timespan but I’ve always been the one to cook it and I have never liked it- I don’t like the taste/flavor, mainly, but I’m okay with the texture. I prefer tofu. To me, tempeh always tastes rancid. What am I doing wrong to make it taste so bad? How do you cook it properly for a recipe such as this one? Also, for the buffalo sauce you use in this recipe- is it very spicy or more mild? I don’t tolerate anything spicy but buffalo sauce always smells delicious lol so if it’s more on the mild side then I’ll give it a shot. Thanks for the help! 🤗
