Could you boil them on the stove or microwave them with water to soften them? or even just soak them in water overnight

Lol I was eating chickpeas rn. I was eating them as it is without anything added.
But ik a good way to make them tasty.
So first put 1 table spoon oil in a pan.
Then add these , then add red chilli powder and salt . After a bit of roasting, not much u can eat them as it is.

They are meant to be crispy and crunchy. But if they bother your teeth, maybe use that as a topping for soups? It might soften them.

Sometimes when I have roasted salted peanuts I’ll blend them to make peanut butter without adding anything else. I wonder if you could do something similar with these?

Crush them and sprinkle on food that needs a little crunch. Baked potatoes, pasta, salad, etc.

I like them out of the bag, but if you want them a bit softer, maybe crush lightly and add to soup and stews instead of crackers?

I know this doesn’t help with the problem of using up what you have right now, but in the future I’d definitely recommend looking for roasted lentils! They’re just as tasty and filling but much easier on the teeth.

You can also try a chickpeas soup recipe or a Channa masala and add the package contents along with the chickpeas the recipe calls for.
